ProActiv Renewing Cleanser:
The cleanser contains
exfoliating beads which force your skin to exfoliate
dead skin cells. You can imagine, if you use it to wash your
face twice daily, then that means you will force your
skin to exfoliate twice a day. This could cause a
problem because normally, your skin exfoliate only 2-3
times a week.
It also contains Benzoyl Peroxide which generates free
radicals in the skin. Repeated use of Benzoyl Peroxide
generates free radicals that damage the skin's structure and
cellular DNA, resulting in premature aging of the skin.
The degree of the damage and aging caused by Benzoyl Peroxide is
determined by the concentration of the entity, the frequency
of application and the duration of its use.
ProActiv Revitalizing Toner:
The toner
contains Glycolic Acid, dyes and fragrance which could
promote skin dryness, especially when combined.
ProActiv Repairing Lotion:
The lotion also
contains more Benzoyl Peroxide and more fragrance.
